In what will become a somewhat regular feature of Amiable Life, I’d like to use this space to showcase other bloggers.
101 Cookbooks is an incredible blog and Heidi Swanson continues to inspire me. I learn something new at every visit. Heidi’s recipes are healthy and taste great. Her site design is simple, classic and clean. What’s more, her photographs are painterly (see her image to right). She has a real gift for portraying images. Her foodscape compositions remind me of Dutch still-lifes, and the way she captures light is like an Impressionist.
