This weekend, Kevin and I will be heading down to Georgetown, MD to visit our friends Michelle and Jim and stay aboard their new boat. Michelle is excited because this boat has a real toilet (which is a huge step up from Jim’s bachelorhood boat). I’m excited because 1) I’ve been promised that the water there is so gentle I won’t get seasick and 2) that Michelle is providing the Reisling and snacks. I can guarantee that the wine will be sweet and the snacks yummy. As for the sea sickness, I’ll keep you posted.
If you are also going to be boating this weekend, feel free to follow the Cooking on Boats/in Galleys article on All Recipes. I googled Boating Blogs and Recipes to no avail. If you know of any great boating blogs, recommend them in the comments.

I have the one of the best Jewish Apple Cake recipes but….I will warn you it using a TON of oil. (I guess that means you could use it for Hanukkah as well). Check your email.
