Greek Agora

by amiable

greekflagI’m working on a post about chili and needed a snack. The weather in Philly is beautiful today so Kevin and I stopped by the Greek Agora at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church in Cherry Hill, NJ. The food there was awesome and I met some lovely people who I will hopefully get a chance to interview for future posts. As usual, I spent lots of time in the baked goods area. Amongst the many options there was Pasta Flora, Katalfi, Diples and Fenikia. karidopita

Kevin ate a gyro while I enjoyed incredible cheese pastries. I also tried some Karidopita which is a type of walnut cake served with what seemed to be either a syrup or honey at the bottom. It was delicious. Too sweet for Kevin, but perfect for me.
