We went peach picking this weekend with our 3-year-old and 6-year-old nieces.
It was a gorgeous day. Shockingly blue sky set the background for the bright green leaves on the trees. We pulled a soft, ripe peach off of a branch and took a big bite. It tasted like sunshine. Olivia decided she wanted to carry the peaches from the tree to our bags. ‘I’ll put them away,’ she offered, ‘so they don’t melt.’
50 lbs of peaches later . . .
Stay tuned for the peach pie posting . . .
